Development of autoignition model for natural gas engines
This project mainly involved engine testing, operating data acquisition systems (including LabView), analyzing the relevant data collected, and FORTRAN programming. This project was sponsored by John Deere and Iowa State University and completed in May 2000.
Development of a 2 zone thermodynamic model for spark-ignited combustion
This project mainly involved FORTRAN programming. The main objective of the project was to analyze the combustion characteristics of John Deere natural gas engines at different engine operating conditions. The project was sponsored by John Deere and Iowa State University. This project was completed in Fall 1999 at Iowa State University.
Development of computer programs for acquisition and analysis of cylinder pressure data
This project mainly involved Lab View programming. The main objective of the project was to acquire experimental cylinder pressure data for relevant projects. The project was sponsored by John Deere and Iowa State University and completed in Spring 1999 at Iowa State University.
Investigating the effect of fuel composition on the knocking limit of John Deere Heavy-duty Natural Gas Engine
This project mainly involved operation of a DC dynamometer to determine natural gas engine performance characteristics at different operating conditions and with different fuel compositions. The project was sponsored by John Deere and Iowa State University and completed in Fall 1997 at Iowa State University.

This project mainly involved operation of a DC dynamometer and measurement and analysis of engine block vibration data. The project was sponsored by John Deere and Iowa State University and completed in Spring 1997 at Iowa State University.
Design of a gaseous fueled engine carburetor to convert gasoline fueled engines to gaseous fueled engines
This project was mainly involved designing a gaseous fuel system for a gasoline fueled engine. The project was sponsored by Institute of Science and Technology of Gazi University. The project was completed in Spring 1993 in Ankara, Turkey.
